- Background:
Xavier Becerra has a 35-year long history in elected office, serving in the CA Assembly, Congress, as CA’s Attorney General, and as President Biden’s US Secretary of Health and Human Services. Notably as CA Attorney General, he sued the first Trump administration 122 times.

Becerra does not have a public safety platform on his campaign website, however, his record as CA Attorney General reveals an unwillingness to hold law enforcement accountable.
