- Public Safety Platform:
While her campaign website does not state her public safety views, it is worth noting that during her tenure as Treasurer, she helped pass a law that helped the Santa Ana police union president count his union salary toward his retirement benefits, which was criticized as a misuse of public funds. The Santa Ana Police union contributed significantly toward her reelection campaign the following year. She also went on the record as Treasurer and supported Prop 36 in 2024, which increased criminalization for minor offenses.
