Assembly District 59

Political Party:

Green

Ballot Designation:

Account Sales Manager

Law Enforcement Contributions:

Candidate has not raised any campaign funds as of 4/16/26

Background:

Hernandez is a Green Party candidate and community advocate who has engaged in state-level policymaking, including testifying on legislation. His campaign reflects a grassroots, people-powered approach aligned with Green Party organizing.

Public Safety Platform:

Hernandez does not present a detailed public safety platform in traditional policy terms. However, his campaign emphasizes systemic reform, reducing corporate influence, and investing in communities—consistent with Green Party positions that prioritize alternatives to incarceration, police accountability, and community-based safety.

Given the poor voting record of the incumbent, IJ Action recommends voters support Hernandez.
