Emiliano is a former Inside Organizer with Initiate Justice and a graduate of their Impacted of Impacted Leaders. By participating in these programs, Emiliano learned about intersectionality and adopted the motto “The struggle is universal”. He has been an active Member of Initiate Justice Action for the past 3 years. 

Emiliano was wrongfully convicted and served over 29 years in the California state prison system. This experience had a great impact on his life is why he is highly motivated to change the so-called justice system and  bring back the lost sense of community. He works to lead by example and set aside the time for what he truly believes in.
