Mack's public safety platform, titled “Justice Reform” outlines the following: “As a Libertarian, I believe our justice system should target crimes of aggression, theft, and fraud first and foremost. I believe in softening sentences for Victimless Crimes, or crimes where no party was defrauded, manipulated, or had violence initiated against them.” On criminalizing drug use, Mack states: “I believe in decriminalizing, but not encouraging drug use. I believe California should focus on offering recovery options to addicts rather than leaving users worse off by throwing them behind bars when guilty only of possession.”
