Shervin Aazami is an immigrant and policy wonk with a background in public health advocacy. He has fought for diverse issues ranging from housing justice to Indigenous sovereignty to public safety through abolition of carceral systems. Shervin used to work in Washington D.C. as Director of Congressional Relations for the only national Indigenous healthcare non-profit. He is a dad of two young boys, and proudly grew up in the San Fernando Valley.
