IJ Action Members are involved in ratifying our Policy Platform, participating in Lobby Days, and giving me too’s in support or opposition of bills.
The IJ Action Platform embodies our core values and policy initiatives, shaped by individuals personally impacted by incarceration, including current and formerly incarcerated people, as well as their loved ones. Every two years, it undergoes review and approval by our Membership and Board of Directors.
IJ Action has released its first legislative scorecard specifically analyzing the votes of State Assemblymembers and State Senators on critical justice reform legislation
Every legislative cycle IJ Action actively supports and opposes various public safety bills making their way through committees.
